3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3 1/4 cups buttermilk
1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
3 large eggs, beaten lightly
Preheat an oiled waffle iron.
Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt and stir in room temperatured buttermilk, butter, and eggs, stirring until smooth.
Spoon batter into waffle iron, and cook until golden brown. Transfer cooked waffles to a plate in the oven at 200F to keep warm or until eaten.
